Privacy notice
Your privacy at Keyzyme
Keyzyme is an early-stage venture, and this is a plain-language notice about the limited data we handle today. We only collect what we need, we explain why, and we don’t sell it. As the product develops, we’ll expand this notice and have it reviewed before any commercial launch.
Who we are
Keyzyme is an independent, early-stage health brand built by Kiarash Keshvari in Brno, Czech Republic. Kiarash is the data controller for the information described here. For any privacy question, email k32@keyzyme.com.
What we collect
The email address you choose to give us through the early-access form or the quiz. We do not create an account for you or collect any payment information on this site. On the quiz, you can also choose to share your first name — this is optional and only used to personalize our emails; it is never stored in our database (see “Quiz data” below).
If you complete the quiz, we also collect your selected priority area or areas (such as energy, focus, stress, sleep, gut comfort, training recovery, cardiovascular health, or general wellness) and a set of structured quiz data. The full detail of what we store — and what we deliberately do not — is in the “Quiz data” section below.
Why we use it
We use your email address solely to send occasional Keyzyme updates — our progress, the thinking behind our formulations, and a first invitation when the product is ready. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by submitting the form, and you can withdraw it at any time.
How emails are sent
To deliver these emails we use Resend, an email service provider that acts as our data processor and handles your email address only to send our messages on our behalf. Resend may process data outside the European Economic Area under appropriate safeguards. We do not share your email with anyone else, and we never sell it.
Quiz data
If you complete the early-access quiz, we may store the following in our database (Supabase, acting as our database processor; Keyzyme uses a Supabase project hosted in the EU (eu-north-1 region) for warm-beta quiz storage):
- Your structured answer choices — including slider positions and the options you selected at each step — stored as identifiers and numbers only, never as free text
- Your priority track or tracks (one or two of: energy, focus, stress, sleep, gut comfort, training recovery, cardiovascular health, or general wellness)
- Whether you submitted your email and gave consent, and the timestamp of that consent
- Source or campaign information if your visit came via a tracked link (for example, utm_source)
- An optional accuracy rating if you choose to leave feedback on your result
- A derived, internal decision profile computed from your answers — a routine-caution class (comparable to a low/medium indicator, not a diagnosis), a note on which topics still need human review before we consider any future product direction, and a small set of structured follow-up questions we might ask. This is founder/pharmacist-facing only; it is never shown to you and never used to diagnose, treat, or personalize medical care
Your first name, if you choose to share it, is not included in this database — it goes to Resend only (see “How emails are sent” above), so we can address our emails to you personally.
We deliberately do not store your IP address, your browser or device identifier, any free-text health narrative, any content from licensed third-party reference tools, any formula or ingredient detail, or anything not in the list above.
We store this to understand which health directions resonate with early visitors, evaluate our quiz design, and make better decisions about which product directions to develop. This is product-learning data, not clinical data. It does not affect your health or imply any medical assessment.
This data is retained for up to 12 months from submission unless you request deletion earlier. To request deletion, email insights@keyzyme.com.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until Keyzyme no longer needs it for early-access updates — whichever comes first. Quiz session data (structured answer choices, result type, consent details) is retained for up to 12 months from submission, or until you request deletion.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand basic, aggregated website usage such as page views and traffic patterns. Vercel Web Analytics is designed to work without third-party cookies and does not identify visitors across other websites.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, withdraw your consent, or stop emailing you — at any time and free of charge. The simplest way is to email k32@keyzyme.com, and every email we send will include an unsubscribe option. If you are in the EU/EEA you can also complain to your local data protection authority — in the Czech Republic, the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, ÚOOÚ).
Changes to this notice
This is an early-stage notice and will be expanded and formally reviewed before Keyzyme launches commercially. When it changes materially, we’ll update the date below.
Needs legal/regulatory review before launch.
